Kensal Green Streets is organising another Community Day on Sunday 24 September at Furness Pocket Park with Music, fruit juice made with our local fruit, food, massage, face painting, etc. Please put this date in your diary. If you have fruit trees and would like to donate some fruit, please let me know. We will come and pick it up.
Recently a few members of KGS went to County Hall for the 2017 London Tree and Woodlands awards. Brent won the London Borough award for its work with community organisations on planting trees. KGS was one of three organisations involved.
The Jetset club has had its license renewed with the same operating hours but some new conditions added. The manager has also changed. We have been told that this is the last opportunity they have been given to run the club without causing difficulties in the community,.
Furness Pocket Park is not looking too wonderful. We have contacted Brent Parks and have been told that some work will be done soon.
