Some drawings are attached but briefly there are two options currently under consideration. One is to extend the Ice Cream Shop building at the back at the same height and turn it into three units, and build a similar sized 'house' to the other side of the electricity sub station. All the 'factory units' at the back would be demolished and a low rise apartment building would be constructed. There would be gardens in the centre and the boundary with the park would be marked by a feature fence / hedge. The overall number of bed spaces would go up from three to eleven, in eight flats. None of this would affect the convenience store or its flats.
An alternative, which would include an arch in the new 'house' to allow parking (rather than gardens) in the centre of the development is also being considered but appears to conflict with Brent's policy which is not to allow parking (or new residents' parking rights) in such developments.
A further meeting is being arranged for January.
