- Following our meeting, Cllr Dan has met with the Traffic people about the Furness Road / Harlesden High St junction, the Wrottesley roundabout / Palermo Road and Wrottesley Road / Harrow Road junction. Most of the points we raised were accepted and recommendations have been made for a yellow box on Harlesden High Street / Furness Road junction and a pedestrian crossing on Furness Road Also a pedestrian crossing from Bathhurst Gardens to Palermo Road near Wrottesley Road roundabout. This is all very good news, but on the downside it might take same time as it has to come from next year's budget. We will also see some improved signage at the Wrottesley roundabout.
- We will hopefully see new benches fairly soon at Furness Pocket Park. Meetings have taken place already between Kensal Green Streets and Brent, to fine tune what we want, and some money has been allocated.
- Kensal Green Streets has put in a new proposal for money from Ward Working and we have included events in Furness Pocket Park and Tubbs RoadPocket Park. We would like you to let us know what kind of events you would like to see taking place there or any other ideas you might have.
- There has been an application for a housing development in the Disotto ice cream area. If you want to have a look at the proposals and have concerns to raise, go to Brent Council/planning, search for planning permissions and put in number 14/3629. The deadline to raise objections is 17 November.
- Councillors Claudia, Dan, and Matt are doing surgeries on the first Saturday of each month at St Marks Church near Wrottesley Road roundabout from 11am to 12 noon and on the 3rd Saturday of each month at All Souls Church Station Road at the same time.
- On Saturday 22 November from 10am to 12, KGS together with Brent Parks will have a PLANTING event at Chelmondeley Road. We are inviting residents to come and help with the planting. This will be on the raised flower beds near the roundabout. Refreshments provided.
