Friday 8th & Saturday 9th February: the OPDC has commissioned consultants to develop a vision for improving the Grand Union Canal to help protect its unique character, improve facilities for the users of the canal and its surroundings. A canal boat will be stopping along the canal to enable all to give their views on this.

Tuesday 5th February 6-8pm OPDC briefing meeting on the 3 draft Supplementary Planning Documents currently out for public consultation till 22nd February;Tuesday 12th February 8.30-9.30am OPDC meeting with the CEO Michael Mulhern on Community Infrastructure Levy - a form of local taxation on development that could contribute to the funding of facilities to support growth in the area; Various HS2 events on the Old Oak Common station design; and, among other things, information on an OPDC small grants scheme for community arts, culture & heritage projects.
