Our Neighbours Day / Car free Day will be on Sunday 22 September at Furness Pocket park from 1-5pm. Kensal Green Streets applied to Brent Council to close Furness Road to traffic, between Harrow Road and Palermo Road. We are very happy to tell you that they have agreed, so we will have a car free zone in the area. They decided also top close Rucklidge Avenue. We will have our usual activities in the Park plus a few others. Music with DJ Hugh, saxofonist Lascelles James and hopefully a steel band (not yet confirmed). Food, freshly pressed fruit juice, face painting, coconut stall, massage, etc. If you have any fruit trees and would like to donate some fruit, please let us know. If you would like to help with the day please let us know as well.
The next Kensal Green SNT ward panel will be on Tuesday 10 Sept - from 7 - 8 pm at Newman College. KG councillors and SNT Sgt Kieran Bowell will attend. Guest speaker will be Connie Henry from Track Academy. Track Academy works to support disadvantaged young people in London through sport, education and mentoring, see more info at https://trackacademy.co.uk/run-for-your-life/
