It will take place on Sunday 9 August at four different locations between 12 and 3pm. The locations are :
Roundwood Park cafe - 12 - 1.30pm
Holland Road (corner with Furness Road) - 12.45-2pm
Palermo Road (near Wrottesley Road) - 1.30- 2.30
Kensal Rise Library - 1.30 - 3pm
Acts include Break Dance, Poetry, Theatre performers, and a legendary steel band soloist.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some performances and to have a chat to your neighbours.
On a less pleasant note, we had a couple of burglaries in Palermo Road last week. The police do not think they are related. The first was a break-in, where the robbers managed to take various items. The second was an attempt at entering a property through an open front window. As the resident screamed the burglar ran away.
The Safer Neighbourhood Local Police are advising residents to have double locks with 2 keys or a strong main lock and to make sure that they don't leave windows open. Burglars will try the easiest or weakest doors and windows. They also mentioned that installing a bell with camera seems to indicate that this will reduce burglaries significantly.
Keep safe and lets come together on Sunday
