Someone attached a bike to one of our new trees so somebody cut the tree in half last night and stole the bike.

PLEASE DON'T ATTACH BIKES TO OUR TREES!

As you know we have around 25 new trees in Odessa and Palermo Roads. As the weather has been mainly dry we need to water them so we now have a few volunteers on both streets to do that. We met the contractor that planted the trees the other day - they were actually watering them. They told us that they do this a couple of times during the summer so they will only return in 2 or 3 months. We don't need to water them anymore this week but if the weather is dry we still need to keep an eye on them.
As there are more cars on our streets and it is getting more difficult to park, please make sure you dont leave spaces between your car and the next. Community spirit again.
Brent Parking consultation: the deadline has now past. Interesting to see what comes out of this!
You might have noticed that the area around the school has a lot less litter. The roadsweeper told us he sweeps it everyday. This makes a big difference from the previous once a week. Slowly things are improving.
If you see any rubbish or flytipping near you, please ring Brent Streetcare on 02089375050 and report it. is very easy and they are usually very quick to remove it.
