Brent is consulting on the visitor parking and the CPZ parking zones. This is our opportunity to have our voices heard. Make sure you complete the survey. There is also a petition regading the visitor's parking which will be circulated shortly. Here is a link to the consultation - http://dmtrk.net/2K3U-PX4B-B055IV4E3E/cr.aspx.

New trees have already started appearing in Odessa Road to replace those which died over the winter. More are to be planted shortly - Brent Council were firming up the locations in Odessa and Palermo Roads today. More details will follow soon - but here are a couple of pictures. We will need to make sure they are watered in June, July and August.
Next Saturday 16 April Kensal Green Streets is organising a Clean Up Day from 8.30 - 11.30 near Furness Road Pocket Park. Free refreshments, skips and stalls.
We will have 2 skips, one located at the junction of Furness Road with Rucklidge Avenue and the other one at the junction of Palermo Road and Furness Road. You can bring along things you want to get rid of and are no good to anybody else. Remember that we don't take big items of furniture, tyres, builders rubble. We will also be having 'exchange/reuse stalls' in the Pocket Park. This will be for any unwanted items you might have but other people could use. We will also be talking to people about how to keep our streets clean, what to do with rubbish, sharing useful phone numbers, etc Come along, bring your unwanted stuff or just come to help or for a chat. Or you might just pick up something interesting that you have always wanted at our 'exchange' stall. |
