KENSAL GREEN STREETS

Kensal Green Streets activities:

Palermo Rd raised bed: there will be a replanting event on Saturday 14 March at 10am for about 1-2h. Come along to do some planting or just to watch. Brent Council will provide some new plants and gardeners too. If you want to raise any objections or contribute with any ideas, please do so as soon as possible. 

Clean up day on Saturday 25 April 10am to 2pm. There will a couple of skips on Rucklidge Avenue and Palermo Road near the shops. There will also be a reuse/recycle/exchange event at the same time at Furness Pocket Park. Start collecting things you don't need.


Big Green Lunch - planned for Saturday 27 June.


Little Green Spaces - Saturday 19 September - details to follow.

The minutes of our last meeting on 27 January  are attached. Here are some reminders:

Make sure you are registered  for voting in the elections and encourage others to do the same.

If you want your garden waste to be collected from 1st April, you need to register with Brent and pay £40/year. You can share it with a neighbour. 

Let us have any ideas on how to improve shopping in Harlesden to feedback to Councillors.

Hustings meeting on Tuesday 21 April at St Marks Church. It is your chance to ask questions and raise concerns with parliamentary candidates.
